It all starts with Heli, a passionate farmer from Gols, Austria, near beautiful Lake Neusiedl. His dedication to sustainable farming has made him the perfect partner for Mercurtec.
🐓 A Glimpse into Chicken Life
Recently, five Mercurtec employees got a firsthand look at our chicken's blissful lifestyle on Heli’s farm. We have two breeds – Sulmtalers and Legehybrids – each living on their own free-range lands – 7,000m² for the Sulmtalers and a massive 40,000m² for the Legehybrids. Guarded by sheep and equipped with luxurious trailers, these chickens truly live the good life.
🌟 Egg-cellent Results
The eggs they produce are a unique perk for our teams in Bratislava, Pezinok, and Senec. We're proud to offer these eggs as part of our non-financial benefits package, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our team. And like our team, our chickens are high-achievers; in 2023 alone, they laid an impressive 7,774 eggs – that's roughly 140 eggs per employee!
